Early early early. I got up too early, again. *hmph*

I think I got, oh, a good five hours sleep, though! Good for me!

Trying to get a bunch of stuff posted today, or at least ready to put on-line.

As usual, I've updated the dreamwalk on-line comic. Not the journal, yet. Having some trouble with that.
I made a sort of tutorial for the way that Ed and I make hoof appliances. It's not bad but there are not
photos to go with it. I hope to remedy that, but it won't be too soon because we're starting work on the
Haunted House at Hobb's Grove this week.
I also did a short sort of photo walkthrough of Ed's "All terrain hooves." It's not super detailed but it shows
shots of the hooves in case someone wants to make some that are similar. If they follow the text tutorial and
add the photos to that, they can pretty much figure out how to make them.
Ed's almost finished building his mini-lathe. He's building it to help him do work for miniatures. Nice little
piece of machinery. Here are a few photos. Cool, no?
And we have a bit of interest in an old costume of Ed's that has had a good portion of it parted out into other
things, but the main head and wig and clawed hands/gauntlets are still good. There are even LED's in the eyes.
It's almost electronics ready. Meaning it's got the connector at the head, and a connector in one of the gloves
(I think) but not the wire that leads between the two as that's a variable size. I'll have to find out if Ed's
including that or not. I don't think it would be too difficult for someone to make. We hope to sell it.
Need to get back to a couple of really nice young men who are interested in making hooves, Ed's style. I have
a bunch of photos to send them on basic construction.

For both of the above I'd written to them and then put the silly letters in the "Draft" folder, waiting for the
photos. Doh! I thought I'd already sent the emails! Dont'cha just love senior moments? *grin*

But on top of this, my eyes ache for some reason. As if I got a punched. But, no black eye. If it continues for
much longer, I guess I'll have to call the Doc. *shakes head* Hate that.

Aaaaand, what else? Hmm. Still thinking about a new costume. Not sure what yet. It's been suggeted I do a
deer. That might be cute. But a bunny with big feet would be awesome, too. Anyone here ever hear of Belinda
Bump by Vaughn Bode? I was thinking of doing a Belinda Bump Bunny. *giggle*
Oh! I've been part of a Writing Marathon for my on-line writers group (really COOL place) and I chose to
transcribe the rest of "Stallion" onto my PC wordprocessor program because I only had a hard copy of it. (I
wrote it that long ago.) I just finished transcribing it while doing some minor rewriting. It's…let me
see…52,264 words. In about 13 days is not bad, for me. An average of about 4000 words a day, though that's
not really how it went. I've been writing on several things at once. The Journal, a story called "Lilith,"
another called "Bane," along with "Stallion."
I needed to rewrite, finish "Stallion" because last year I wrote another story that had several of the main
characters from "Stallion." I like the second story a lot but felt I really needed to clean up the back-story
before I could go over the second story, called "Mareesha's Mare." I love writing. I just wish there was a
place that I knew I'd get lots of readers reading my work. I feel it's not bad, but then, that's just me. I know
I've got lots to learn as well.
My stuff is definitely, for the most part, not mainstream. Mostly because of the lack of human beings in them.
(And my work often has some intense sexuality. Not, um, base or blatant, but no "heaving bosoms" and stuff
like that, either.) I mean, how many books are out there that have no humans in them? Most have at least one
human for contrast and for a basis of familiarity for the reader. So what if the story is filled with only human-
like animals? Animal people with human attributes. *shrug* Oh, well. To each their own.
