BLOG072905 (Friday)

Went to Hobb's Grove on Wednesday. I only spent a few hours there but BOY did I give my legs a work out!
Walking up and down stairs through the haunted house a couple times was one thing but then I walked
through the forest with Lore. Probably shouldn't have done that. And I had to go to one of my doctors
afterwards to fix a mix-up that was happening with my meds. Wore myself out completely for Thursday.
Totally wasted.

By the end of the day, I don't think crawling was out of the picture.

I spent a good part of yesterday just sleeping. For me, very unusual.

I was going to go back to Hobb's this morning and redress our "Pretty Maids" into victims that are hanging
from the ceiling just outside of the mad scientist lab, but then I realized something.

Let me explain.

You see, our front bathroom is torn up right now. Can't use it. Nope. The floor is being replaced. Apparently
there was a leak in the toity gasket and it had been infiltrating all through under the floor for years. Rotting
the support structure. We were getting a bit concerned because the floor was getting soft. Ew. So one of
Lore's guys came by to take a look and offered to do it. So, it's getting done. But in the mean time I
completely didn't associate the fact that…

…we have GUESTS COMING THIS WEEKEND! (We're quietly celebrating Ed's 55th birthday.)

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!

Why the screaming? Um, the fact that there is no front bathroom (the toilet has been removed while they
replace the floor structure) means they have to use the master bedroom bathroom.

The bathroom connected to my bedroom.

Um…so I have to straighten the mess that is my bedroom and the clutter that is my private bathroom.

Again, I say with feeling,

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!

No, they're not really messy, just cluttered. 'Cause, hey, I didn't have to be all that neat in my own bedroom
and bathroom and it's very, um, girlie right now. Yah know? I have clean clothes overflow and lots of boxes
that are randomly placed in front of my already full book shelves. Those boxes are full of Art morgue stuff
and books that one of my friends was getting rid of and offered me before he did so. I've not had time to buy
another tall book shelf to put them on. (I have to move a few pieces of furniture in any cast to make room for
said bookshelf.)

So…it's cluttered. *sigh*

So, I'm staying home from Hobb's and doing whirlwind housecleaning. *sigh* I keep getting told that because
they're guys, they won't notice, anyway. Is this true?

Okay.  I know. TMI, huh? Well, in any case, enough of this. I've dawdled enough, blogging and nibbling breakfast. Now, to work. :P

I think my treat after this will be sitting and writing for the rest of the day. It's the last two days of my Writing
Marathon and I got veritably nothing done the last two days! And I was doing SO well! I'm hoping no one
minds if I spend a couple hours at the computer today and tomorrow to try and catch up. I love artwork. I love
writing. Woo hoo!
