I know it's not much for some, but we hit the 1,000 hit mark for our on line comic Dreamwalk Journal today!
How cool is that?! Woo hoo! Here's hoping that just keeps on growin'!

Had a loooong day today. I originally intended to go to Hobb's Grove to work on the Haunted House. Instead, I
found out that the owner-who is also a friend--was having to report to the planning commission to review her
application for a Conditional Use Permit for the running of Hobb's Grove and other events on her land. It was a
long and drawn out process and it had a lot of faults in it. But, after much deliberation, she finally got it approved.

After four years of waiting for something that should have only taken a few months. Grrr grr grr. I'll not get into
the stuff that made me angry and frustrated because in the end, she got the permit. Now all she has to do is get
the permits for everything else that she could NOT get until she had THAT permit. And those other permits are
going to cost a FORTUNE! If this had come after Halloween, it would be great. Or five months ago! But right
now? We need to comply as quickly as possible with the conditions set but so many places take their TIME in
responding with permits and the season starts in six weeks. It's all so red tape filled and
so…so…FRUSTRATING. *sigh* Deep breaths, zebra. Deep breaths. *shakes head*

So, I'll be goin' to Hobb's on Saturday instead.

Okay. Here's something silly, not work safe, and I want one! *giggle* Silly thing! I
want the hot pink or nude one. Not the fuzzy one. *hee hee hee* Hey, my birthday is coming up, y'know! *giggle*

I've almost met my writing goals for the month, already! I re-edited "Stallion," and a couple friends are going
over it for me and "Blood Storm" is almost ready for the big publishers. I should be sending out subs by the end
of next week. It's not exactly by my birthday - which was the goal - but it's close! Wheeeee!!!
