BLOG101705 (Monday October 17, 2005)
Okay, what is it with my body? Here I am, sitting, getting ready to update my blog (I can't believe it's been a
month already), and LJ and I put some eyedrops in that I have to put in every day, three times a day...

…and Ed comes up to me go give me a kiss and says, "Sweetheart! Your eye is all bloody!"

Now, remember, I have this thing about eyeballs and brains. Both are...things with me. Ickinesses. Is that a
word? I don't think so. It should be.

So I try to remain calm and go to look at my eye in the bathroom mirror.

And this greets me.

Ummmm, okay. Do not freak. Do not freak.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

I called the Dr, they calmed my nerves, saying it's pretty common, happens all the time when stresses are put
onto the eye like coughing, sneezing, barfing…etc. She said it's a "something something hematoma" and will
dissipate the same way a bruise does. The only problem is that we can't think of anything I did today except
put in my eyedrops.

So, I've an appointment set up for tomorrow. The Dr is not in today but the nurse I spoke to--who I trust a
great deal--was very calming and nice about the whole thing. *whew* Now I need to sit down, breathe deep
and slow. Calm. Everything is oookaaaay. Sheesh. I'm such a wimp.

Okay. So. I was going to update. It's going to be rather long - a bit of rambling...

Let's see, before I get to the plethora of photos, I finally got my foot surgery date!! November 3rd. Shortly
after the end of Hobb's Grove! Looks like I'll be definitely doing my holiday shopping all on-line at this rate.
From what I understand, I'm going to have pins in my foot for a short while. Icky and painful, I think. We'll
see. At least afterward my foot will be straightened out back to what it was and hopefully I'll be able to wear
girlie shoes once in a while. I *like* those high heeled shoes and boots, personally. I think they're sexy. Not
for jogging, mind you...*grin*.
Photos. Woo hoo! The construction of Mr Wiggles and his final arrival at site. Hee hee hee. Just tap on the
photo/image and it will take you to the next one.
The Greeblies. Yummy little worm-like critters that wiggle, too. Well, part of them. The motors are really
wimpy in them so we're hoping they hold up for the entire run. It doesn't look good, though.
Ralf. He's SO darned cool. Ben Camacho did an absolutely amazing job in his creation. However, like I keep
saying, Ben just can't do evil or truly scarey. His curse is that it always comes out cute. No matter how hard he
tries. *Chuckle*
My final doll for the doll room. I really enjoyed finding her costume and making her gloves, etc. Hee hee
hee.
