Lots of working with Johnathon. Lots of exercising and movement and figuring out new ways of eating. His poor
body is working so hard to catch up and I have to keep stopping him from pushing too hard.
His muscles are so dense--they're unusual in that they're called double density, I think I mentioned this before--
so they can cause some pretty intense cramping if he doesn't just slow down! *sigh* Can you tell we're having a bit of trouble on that front? *smile* They also make him weigh "heavier" than his size would denote.
But he's awake.
He's awake.
Everything, absolutely everything, is worth it.
We're taking short walks. His legs seem to be having the most trouble and it's frustrating him. He has a cane.
Of course it's not your common cane. When did Johnathon ever do anything common? *smile* It's a piece of root wood--I think--that was struck by lightning. He stained it and put a leather foot on it to help grip. It's actually quite pretty. |
