Sorry for the late postings. So long. We've spent the majority of the time working with Johnathon. Every day
we have to walk. He has improved greatly but there's something wrong with his lower legs. Some weird rash. I got worried so we went to another physician.
Believe it or not…it's gout.
Yes, he had a rich life at one time. Long before I met him. And it's come back to bite him. *sigh* So I did
some research and found that black cherry juice seems to put it into remission within a very short time and it helps take away that awful swelling that happens. Luckily there's not a whole lot of pain. But the swelling…
Not good.
The doctors wanted to put him on a medication but he refused…for the time being. He wants to try the
cherry juice for a month or two first.
No problem. They told him what to avoid eating, beef--especially ground, turkey, alcohols, etc, to help. And
then they stepped back.
Other than that, he'd doing awesome.
He's working a lot on the computer with his new 3D programs. Gifts from friends who stuck through it. There
were a few though they contacted me in little bits, they'd send words of encouragement every so often and then back away.
Sometimes that's the best thing to do.
They sent their care at the right times.
And, there's always one…and Fleur is the best.
We're all going out to dinner to celebrate May Eve and then we're going for a walk in at a well forested part
that's not too far away. We'd go to the beach but it's a bit of a drive and we don't want to overdo. Walking in sand is much more difficult than walking through a forest.
And it's a beautiful day. Clouds racing in the blue sky, with a cold breeze.
I'm getting hungry. *grin* So we're waiting for Fleur to get off work.
Fooooood…..
