Okay. So I didn't expect it. Not a whit.

Johnathon, who hates surprises, surprised me.

On my birthday.

Which was yesterday.

He took me out to dinner. I was pleasantly surprised by that and it was a very nice steak. Mmmmm. Predator
that I am.

But that wasn't the surprise. It was the presents. Yes. Plural.

I got an absolutely adorable stuffed zebra plushy. You can see him here. He is SO huggably soft!

And he got me art supplies.

Not just a few. A whole friggin' packing box!!! I just sat on the floor and went through it like treasure. Pencils.
Different pads of different sizes. Watercolor and sketch. Drawing boards. My favorite inking pens - that he
introduced me to, by the way.

And, oh! My favorite ever watercolor pencils! Wunnerful wunnerful wunnerful!!! And watercolors, too. The
good kind! Transluscent to opaque. Mmmmmmm.

He got me some acrylic inks to play with, too. The kind one of my favorite artists uses. I love her style. The
expressions and paws on her critters just makes me want to create.

And along with it? A gift from Fleur. Music. About five CD's of my favorite songs all collected together! Stuff
for me to listen to, with proper headphones (yes new headphones!), and create. With the threat of a mini Ipod
when she got back - so she could program it. I'm an idiot in that quarter.

I cried.

And then I sat and drew flowers. :)
