Y'know, I completely forgot to let you know that I had my foot surgery.

It went amazingly well. The pin is to be removed tomorrow. The problem...it really aches for the first time.
But then, I'm not taking the pain killer as much as I was the first several days. I only too that because I didn't
want to feel any aches. I wonder if it worked or if my foot is just aching now because I'm walking around on it
more.

The world may never know.

And, yes, I'm avoiding the subject everyone's probably interested in.

Just for a little while.

I mean, what would YOU do if you found yourself in my situation?

Freak? Celebrate? Go far, far away, mentally?

It's a lot to take in and the memories are slowly filtering in, now.

Nope. Later. I'll talk about it later.

I promise.

I need to do some other things for a while.

"Normal" stuff. Like laundry. Dishes. Christmas shopping.

Normal.
